Caravaggio

Caravaggio

1571 - 1610

Born in Italy in 1571, Caravaggio was a peerless genius who forcefully opened the doors to Baroque painting through his masterful use of chiaroscuro—the intense contrast between brilliant light and profound darkness.

He persistently revealed moments of shocking drama, radically reimagining sacred narratives as visceral, street-level realities. The palpable breath of the figures emerging from the shadows and the taut tension exude a striking realism, as if one were witnessing a theatrical act unfold right before their eyes.

Even in modern living, this vivid and impassioned theatricality adds a dramatic spice and intellectual vigor to the everyday, bringing an overwhelming presence to interiors that stands distinctly apart from the rest.

Features

  • It can be displayed immediately upon arrival.

We pre-select the most suitable frames and mats for each artwork, and our professionals frame each piece individually before shipping. There's no need for you to search for frames or measure sizes yourself. Simply open the box and hang it to complete your ideal space.

  • Reduces UV-induced fading

We use standard acrylic panels, which are ideal for displaying valuable artwork. These panels block approximately 90% of UV rays from indoor lighting and windows, suppressing artwork degradation and preserving the vivid colors when you receive them for a long time.

  • Overwhelming reproducibility that even captures the artist's brushstrokes.

We've adopted a special printing technique that faithfully reproduces even the author's brushstrokes and layers of ink. Rich colors, 16.77 million of them, are laid upon paper with a moist texture that absorbs light. The work can be clearly enjoyed from any angle, without reflections even by a window or under lighting, preserving its original texture.
